This bread is called the symbol of the Latvian people. It has its original look and taste. Just like in old times, it is baked on a hearth in a wood-heated stove. Each loaf is hand-made by the baking masters. Made from coarse-grained rye flour without any additives and fermented for a longer time, the bread demonstrates good baking characteristics, a consistent taste and smell, as well as the highest nutritional value - even during long-term storage. In the course of such fermentation, ferments containing vitamins appear that are many times better than synthetic ones.
